Our story

In gold and silver since 1972

Our grandfather started trading gold and silver in 1972. Our father, Kishor Siddhapara, began his own trade in 1995, carrying jewellery from town to town across Vidarbha, southern Madhya Pradesh and the towns along the Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border. In 1998 he opened Apsara Silver House with our uncle, and in 2017 he started Apsara Gold House.

Most wholesale shops keep one kind of product. We keep almost every kind of silver jewellery, along with gold basics such as rings, chains, tops and earrings.

Does Apsara Gold House sell jewellery wholesale?

Yes. Jewellery shop owners buy their stock from us wholesale, at our shop in Sarafa Bazaar, Itwari, Nagpur or by parcel across Vidarbha. We stock almost every kind of silver jewellery, and gold basics such as rings, chains, tops and earrings.

Where is the shop and when is it open?

Apsara Gold House is at Siddhapara Residency, opposite Mamta Readymade, near Vaishali Saree Showroom, Sarafa Bazaar, Itwari, Nagpur 440002. We are open from 10:30 am to 8:15 pm, Monday to Saturday, and closed on Sunday.

Is your jewellery hallmarked?

Most of our gold jewellery carries the BIS hallmark. Our silver jewellery is not hallmarked yet, because silver hallmarking needs a separate licence that we do not have at the moment. Every bill states the purity of what you buy, such as 925, 99.0, 80 or 65.

Do you exchange old gold and silver?

Yes. Bring a touch peti with the fineness written on it, and we can exchange it at any time during opening hours. Without a touch peti, please call or WhatsApp +91 94230 69605 before you come, so that the owner is at the shop.

Can I order without visiting the shop?
